Praxis is a growing Canadian-owned, women-led management consulting and research company with a rich history of subject matter expertise and client relationships.  Our founder, Valerie Sluth, launched Praxis in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1999 and in 2024 the firm celebrated its 25th anniversary.  The organization is headquartered in Regina, SK, and growing throughout Canada with consultants in Saskatchewan and Ontario. We have a person-centered culture, and our teams live by four core values of Ownership, Flourishing, Client Focus and Collaboration, providing a positive work environment where our people can grow in their career.

Consulting Analyst

As a Praxis Consulting Analyst, you will contribute to the successful execution of client engagements by supporting both project management and project delivery functions. You will help shape project plans, coordinate stakeholder activities, and take an active and collaborative role in drafting and finalizing key deliverables that reflect strategic insights and client priorities. This role requires a performance-driven individual who is motivated to grow, thrives in dynamic environments, and brings curiosity, initiative, and precision to every phase of the project lifecycle. The role offers excellent exposure to management consulting and is ideally positioned to serve as a pathway to the Consultant role. 

A hybrid schedule is available in Regina, SK, with limited travel (estimated as less than 10%), depending on client needs and project scope.

Project Management 

You will be responsible for managing projects through their full lifecycle, from proposal development and initiation to execution and close-out, using Praxis tools and processes. Project teams are structured to reflect the subject matter, and scope of each engagement and may vary in composition. On each project team, you are accountable for aligning activities with client expectations, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and maintaining momentum across phases. Strong project management skills are essential, including the ability to plan and track progress and budgets, manage up effectively, communicate with clarity, and foster trusted relationships with clients and internal team members.

Project Delivery 

You will play a central role in shaping project deliverables from the outset, often taking the first pass at drafting materials and envisioning their structure, tone, and format to ensure alignment with client needs. This includes preparing discussion guides, agendas, reports, presentations, and strategy maps that reflect key insights and support strategic outcomes. You will coordinate and participate in engagement activities such as interviews, focus groups, and workshops, translating input into clear, actionable content. Attention to detail, responsiveness to evolving priorities, and a commitment to producing polished, high-impact materials are essential.

Strategic Relationship Management  

You will cultivate trusted relationships with clients by engaging thoughtfully, anticipating needs, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the project lifecycle. You will help identify opportunities for Praxis to deepen its impact, ensuring our full range of services is reflected in each client relationship. This includes tracking business development leads, surfacing potential areas for expanded engagement, and contributing to a culture of responsiveness and strategic growth. 

About You: 

You are a performance-driven individual with a passion for service, learning, collaboration, and a curiosity to deepen your understanding of various business areas, industries, and clients. Not only eager to contribute, but also highly autonomous, organized, with a keen ability to prioritize tasks and streamline processes for maximum efficiency. 

  • A post-secondary degree in Arts, Social Science, or Business (Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications) is required for this role.
  • Research education and/or experience, including quantitative data analysis, survey design, or synthesis of complex findings into actionable insights is an asset but not required. 
  • Professional experience (3–5 years) in comparable roles, with a proven ability to contribute strategically.
  • Experience in business development is valuable, particularly in identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and securing consulting work.
  • Willingness to travel, depending on client needs and the nature of project work.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, demonstrate critical thinking, and bring an entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on service and proactive relationship building.
