Valerie Sluth, MBA, FCMC, ICD.D

With over 25 years of experience as a practicing business advisor, Val focuses on business strategy, community engagement, and corporate governance in private and public sector organizations at provincial, federal, and international levels. She has gained a reputation as a facilitative leader, skilled in navigating complicated strategic issues toward collaborative resolution and committed to ensuring her clients have the skills and expertise needed to sustain ongoing success.

Valerie’s expertise in strategy has provided her the opportunity to serve as a sessional lecturer teaching corporate strategy at the University of Regina’s Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business. Valerie is also a faculty member by virtue of her appointment as the RBC Executive Woman in Residence at the Hill and Levene Schools of Business, with a focus on entrepreneurship.   

Val is actively involved in corporate governance.  She is the immediate past Chair of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, Canadian Chamber of Commerce Director, Canadian Chamber Insurance Corporation of Canada Director, as well as corporate start-up boards and community organizations.   Val is the Chair of the 2022 Saskatchewan Games being held in Regina.  

Val is a leader in the consulting profession, currently serving as an evaluator of management consultant institutes around the globe. In the past, Val has displayed a commitment to the advancement of her profession by serving as President of the Saskatchewan Institute of Certified Management Consultants, a board member of CMC-Canada, and a lead Canadian Trustee to CMC International.
